Watching the commercials for next weeks’ Groomer Has It on Animal Planet make it very clear that Artist is going to lose because he picks the “wrong” dog, i.e., the one that actually needs his help.

Kathleen, on the other hand, the one that will likely win the show, will stay because she picks the dog that doesn’t need her over the one that does.

What a great message, Groomer Has It. These people who take care of animals every day  shouldn’t have  to actually care about the animals they take care of. Oh, no. Never mind that a good groom increases the likelihood that an animal could go home with a potential family and thereby be saved from death.

What really matters is getting the prettiest dog for a good cut.

Whatever, Animal Planet. Regardless of who becomes your Groomer of the Year on your silly little show, I’d actually let Artist do my dog. Little Miss Arrogance, Kathleen, would not be allowed in a room with any animal of mine.

Well, maybe if I had a Chow Chow. Because watching her cry and have hysterical fits over an innocent animal is pretty funny, if proof that she should never be Groomer of the Year.
